DEsign and Manufacturing of a pitch-Oscillating System for gurney flap testing

This activity within Cleansky GRC Program is focused on the dynamic stall phenomenon that involves helicopter and aircraft manoeuvrability.
One of the most promising solutions to delay the dynamic stall phenomenon is the Active Gurney flap and this will be the core activity of the whole R&D program.
The main innovative aspects of the present research regard the wide operative envelope in terms of reduced frequency-Mach number and the integration of such system with an active Gurney flap system installed on the model reproducing several motion laws to be tested in Wind Tunnel and remotely controlled.
