
The Lifting Device system (EG1LD) is specifically designed to lifting general flight hardware equipment for Assembly, Integration, and Testing (AIT) within facility. The EG1LD supports satellite AIT operations within a Clean Room, and ATEX environment. It allows for safe and precise handling of payloads, ensuring maximum flexibility during critical integration phases.
The system comprises of three main elements: a Dynamic Lifting Device (DLD), a dedicated transport trolley (LDTT), and a storage container (SC) for safe handling and logistics.
The DLD features a dual-level adjustment capability. The first allows for precise center of gravity alignment through an electro-mechanical translation of the central lifting eyebolt along the X and Y axes. The second enables independent positioning of four lifting interface points, which can be mechanically adjusted on the same axes to accommodate various payload dimensions.

◦ 2 linear transducers to measure the displacement of the central lifting eyebolt along the X and Y axes.

2. DLD is equipped with a Control Box to check in real-time the correct balancing (horizontal levelling) of the payload;
3. DLD is actuated by its own remote command and a receiver with integrated display to visualize the displacement along the X and Y axes, as well as the load measured by the Load Cell;
4. DLD power supply is guaranteed by its lithium battery and its charge level is visible on the control box display;
5. The DLD and its LDTT are suitable for operation in ATEX environments.
